Modi puppet of billionaires, did nothing for poor, says Rahul

Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi on Friday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of serving the interests of billionaires at the expense of India’s poor. Addressing an election rally in Jharkhand’s Godda district, the senior Congress leader claimed that while the Opposition INDIA bloc was fighting to protect the Constitution, the BJP was trying to “dump it in the trash bin”.

Asserting that he was not afraid of Modi or “his 56-inch chest”, the Lok Sabha LoP said: “He is a puppet of billionaires, who gives lessons of austerity to people during the day and enjoys opulent weddings of industrialists at the night. He has done nothing for the poor.”
